Coco Chanel’s designs have shaped modern fashion and beauty for years. In this fictional lecture series, Chanel’s legacy is explored with nuance as Anne de Courey, author of Chanel’s Riveria, discusses Gabrielle Chanel’s rise to fame and the legacy she has left behind. 

Using a simplistic pattern derived from the logo, this expressiveposter imitates the flowy draped fabric that Chanel would have been using every time she created a new garment or completed an alteration in her shop, as she was so frequently doing.

a large part of the process for this project was experimenting with the scanner by gathering, draping, folding, and manipulating the paper to make it mimic fabric.
